To those on the extreme right of the political spectrum, those of us with a view from the middle of the road sometimes look like flaming liberals --- and to those on the extreme left, we look like ultra-conservatives. However, being in the middle of the road keeps us out of the ditches on both the extreme right and the extreme left. :-)
